Coolangarras Kindy is having a National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day fun day and inviting another kindy class to join in. Community members are coming to set up and run different activities for the children to participate in. Their focus will be learning from their ancestors and playing on the land with members of their community. The children will each receive a Children’s Day bag.

Early Childhood Australia Western Australia: Journeys of Reconciliation – Practitioners Sharing stories
A sub group of the ECAWA committee is holding an event in WA on the 5th of August in respect of National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day. They have invited many schools and early childhood services to network and are showcasing some services that are on track with their Reconciliation Action Plan journeys.
