Black Tank Homeland is situated 75kms north east of Alice Springs on the Arltunga Tourist Drive, an 1hour drive from Alice Springs. It is a family owned and operated homeland. There will be plenty of kids activities including story-telling, arts and crafts, a fun run, hunting and gathering of bush medicine and foods. It may a one day event or overnight camping for families.

Elliott School’s Open Day for National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day will be held on Thursday 1st August 2019 from 11.30am-1.30pm. The school is inviting families and community to visit classrooms and see the children’s work. There will be cultural activities and art and craft, sports and a BBQ lunch.

Elliott FaFT Open Day for National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day will be held on Wednesday the 31st of July 2019 from 11am-1pm. It is for infants to children aged 4 years old and their families. The Open Day will involve cultural activities and play-based experiences. See the FaFT space and meet the FaFT educators. They will hold a bush preschool with local Elders, rangers, families and children. They will also be creating artworks around the theme to share with families. They are located in the remote Aboriginal community Santa Teresa, NT.
Remote School Attendance Strategy (RSAS team), Borroloola Community School

The RSAS team is holding a National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day event at their local community school in Borroloola. They are going to have cultural dance by their students and stalls by their classes and community stake holders. They will also have jumping castles, face painting, fun games and a community barbecue for everyone.
