Become a partner
Organisations play a crucial role in improving the wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. Partners and supporters are key to ensuring that the improved wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children is made in a way that is sustainable, strategic and effective.
Every organisation with which we work shares SNAICC’s vision that all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people grow up safely, get a good education, are healthy and proud of who they are.
Most importantly, these organisations see an active role for their organisation in causing change. This includes working with their own networks, staff, clients and communities across Australia.
If your organisation shares our vision, contact media@snaicc.org.au and see how we can work together.
Volunteers
We want to thank all of our supporters and volunteers for helping us to celebrate Children’s Day, and helping us to pack bags in our cosy SNAICC office in Collingwood, Victoria.
In 2019, volunteers helped us pack 15,000 bags with items such as a weaving bracelet, tattoos, a bandana and a beautiful book Molly the Pig (Moli det Bigibigi) written in Kriol and English, generously donated by the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.
We would like to thank staff from the following organisations for kindly donating their time to bag the Children’s Day bags in 2019:
- Red Cross Australia
- Save the Children Australia
- Bennelong Foundation
- ViiV Healthcare
- GSK Australia
- Centre for CPM Australia
- Australian Institute of Family Services (AIFS) Humanitarian Leadership
