The theme for this year’s National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day (4 August) is:
We are the Elders of tomorrow, hear our voice.
As the national voice for our children, SNAICC recognises the importance of Aboriginal-led community-controlled organisations and our children having a voice in determining their future.
The voice of our children
We want to hear from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children about what culture means to them.
Download and print this resource and ask your child to write or draw a picture about what culture means. It will be incorporated into this year’s Children’s Day resources and shared on our website and on social media. Email your child’s contribution to firstname.lastname@example.org or post it to us at SNAICC (PO Box 1144, Collingwood VIC 3066).
Please complete this form so we can send you a Children’s Day poster.
Children’s Day bags, events and resources
We are looking forward to distributing sustainable bags to children in communities across Australia.
