Our Kalwun Child & Family Support Services Children’s Day is on Saturday 4th August this year; Laguna Park – Palm Beach. Lots of fun things for the kids to do including, jumping castle, face painting, magic show, Sparky Doo Dah, Traditional Dancers, sausage sizzle, plus lots more! Bundaberg – UnitingCare Community
A whole of community Bundaberg event that will deepen cultural immersion. We are offering a space where families can connect and enhance the crucial part they play in developing cultural identity.
There will be free face painting, storytelling, traditional dance, bush tucker, artifact display, musical instruments, reading, boomerang and clapstick decoration and so much more.

Burdekin  – Centacare (FNQ) HIPPY Burdekin
HIPPY Burdekin have celebrated the SNAICC Children’s day every year since 2015, with a free sausage sizzle and loads of fun and free activities open to everyone in the Burdekin community. The activities are focused around interactions, for friends and families to enjoy being together. We have face painting, ball games, including a large circus ball and much much more. We will have some Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders people to share their special talents. We always end the day with a Birthday cake for everyone to celebrate the special birthday. Time for the event will be confirmed closer to the date, however we ensure we hold the time for school aged children and their families to join in.

We are located in Central QLD in the Aboriginal community of Woorabinda.
We are fundraising for our group and to celebrate National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Children’s Day, which is this Saturday but we are holding an event Friday afternoon at 4pm the local Woorabinda HACC.
We would also like to recognise Aunty Donna Swain for the all the amazing work that she has for the young people and the Woorabinda community.
It was a very sad day last week at her funeral she will be missed a lot and has had a huge impact on all of us.
